The Crisp-Ellert Art Museum is pleased to present our semi-annual exhibition of works by Flagler College’s senior B.F.A. and B.A. students. The exhibition will open with a reception on Thursday, April 18 from 5 until 9pm. It will be on view on Friday, April 19 from 10am until 4pm and on Saturday, November 8 from 11am until 2pm.

Flagler College Magazine won a platinum award in the 2011 MarCom Awards competition, marking the third year in a row the alumni magazine has come away with an award in the competition.

| 11/08/2011 - Golf tournament and roast scores big for scholarships
The 2011 Flagler College President’s Golf Classic and Roast of Flagler College President Dr. William T. Abare, Jr. raised $120,000 for the Flagler College Athletics Scholarship Fund, the most ever for a fundraising event at the college.

Surinder Paracer, Ph.D., visiting professor of biology at Flagler College and author, will speak on “Superorganism: Triumph of Cooperation” at 7 p.m. Nov. 9 in the Gamache-Koger Theater.

Flagler College will host the “Flagler Creates!” handmade festival on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Flagler College West Lawn at the corner of Sevilla and Valencia streets.

Holocaust survivor Estelle Laughlin will speak on life in German-occupied Poland during World War II as well as her experiences in a concentration camp at the Gamache-Koger Theater on the campus of Flagler College from 6 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 26.

Works by Flagler College art faculty members Patrick Moser, Loren Myhre and Russell Maycumber will be exhibited as part of the visiting artist series at Florida School for the Arts on the Palatka campus of St. Johns River State College.
