Professional Profile:

Professor Baker earned her Ph.D. in Leadership in Professional Education from The University of Pennsylvania, her M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education from Chestnut Hill College and her B.A. in Elementary Education from Neumann College. Her doctoral interests focused on the effect of university-school partnerships on the literacy rates of inner-city children, and her professional work has focused on educational research and curriculum development, as well as on improving literacy and achievement in low-income school districts.
