Sprint 2013 Portfolio Exhibition

The Crisp-Ellert Art Museum is pleased to present our semi-annual exhibition of works by Flagler College’s senior B.F.A. and B.A. students.  The exhibition will open with a reception on Thursday, April 18 from 5 until 9pm.  It will be on view on Friday, April 19 from 10am until 4pm and on Saturday, November 8 from 11am until 2pm.

Flagler College was recently awarded $5,000 from Publix Super Markets Charities in support of the Flagler Fund for Student Financial Aid.

Six students enrolled in a Sex, Gender and Media course at Flagler College saw their work in the classroom pay off when papers they wrote were accepted into the South Florida Undergraduate Communication Honors Conference at Florida Atlantic University.

The Foundation for the Defense of Democracies (FDD), a non-partisan policy institute headquartered in Washington, D.C., has announced that Will Miller, a professor of public administration at Flagler College, has been named an academic fellow for 2013-14.

Flagler College associate professor Arthur Vanden Houten will speak on “Faith, Fortune and Empire: Henry Flagler, Florida Politics and the Rise of America's Global Ambition” on May 7 when he speaks as part of the College’s Community Lecture Series.

The Gargoyle, Flagler College’s online student newspaper, has won two awards in the 2013 Florida College Press Association “Best Under the Sun” contest.
