Orientation Schedules

Day One

  • 8 a.m. – 9 a.m. – Check-in and Light Breakfast 
  • 9 a.m. – noon - Programing 
  • 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. – Lunch Based on Group 
  • 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. – Programming 
  • 8 p.m. – 9 p.m. – Evening Entertainment (Students Only)

Day Two

  • 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. – Full Breakfast, Department Fair and Student ID
  • 9 a.m. – noon – Programming

  • 8 a.m. – 9 a.m. – Check-In, Breakfast, Department Fair, and Student ID
  • 9 a.m. – noon - Programing
  • 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. – Lunch Based on Group

Orientation Frequently Asked Questions

After you register and pay for Roar Up, we will send you an email confirmation! If you paid but didn't get the confirmation email, please email orientation@flagler.edu.

No, Orientation is not mandatory. However, we hope that you decide to join us. You can bond with your future roommates during your session and the overnight experience is a great time to meet new friends

The organizers of these separate programs take pride in providing different experiences for our students and families. The Office of Student Leadership and Engagement hosts Roar Up! while the Office of Admissions hosts Admitted Students Day. 

Roar Up! Orientation

  • Roar Up Orientation is a vibrant, fun, and comprehensive two-day program crafted to set you up for success in the fall and spring semesters. It offers valuable academic preparation. It’s a great way to start new friendships and connect with influential student leaders across our campus community.
  • During Roar Up, you can get critical items like your student ID and parking decal. We will also show you how to view your class schedule and access the many services we provide to ensure your success at Flagler.

Admitted Students Day

  • Admitted Student Day is an exclusive chance for our admitted and deposited students to dive deeper into our campus experience, establish connections with their future peers, and discover if Flagler College is the perfect fit for you.

It's $100 for students and $25 for guests to attend Roar Up!

To confirm your spot, we must receive payment within two weeks of your orientation date.

You are allowed to bring up to two family members for $25 each. Please note that your family members will attend different sessions, and you will be separated during orientation.

Our new Flagler Saints can stay in one of our Residence halls. We encourage family members to make hotel accommodations near the college.

Florida weather can be a bit unpredictable. Please be prepared for any changes in the weather. The attire for Roar Up! is casual. Things to consider bringing:

  • Umbrella or rain jacket 
  • Pen, paper, or laptop 
  • Change of clothing 

If you or a family member need certain accommodations during Roar Up! please email orientation@flagler.edu at least two weeks before your session. 

We will work closely with The Disability Resource Center to ensure your accommodations are met and assist you during your orientation experience.

If you want to change your session, please email us at  orientation@flagler.edu. Please include your current session and the new proposed session. Please understand that session dates are first come, first served.

At orientation, you will get to meet representatives from the Center for Advising and Core Experience (CACE) office to discuss accessing your class schedule. As long as you complete your placement test prior to attending orientation, you will have access to your schedule.

Students who participate in the on-campus experience will stay in the FEC B Tower during orientation.  It's a great opportunity to view those residence halls. We will not be able to show other residences halls.

Yes. If you stay overnight, you must bring your own linen and toiletries.
