Gerald
L. Gamache, PhD,
Professor, Department
of Social Sciences
(Psychology).
Gamache
conducted the world's
largest longitudinal
study of the physical
and cognitive decrements
in performance
associated with
Chernobyl and was
involved in studies
of the Mir Space
Station astronauts.
He has published
three books and
numerous research
articles and was
awarded an honorary
doctor of science
degree from Kiev
Polytechnic Institute
in 1998 as well
as being included
in the 2000
Outstanding Scientists
of the 20th Century.

Yvan
J. Kelly, Associate
Professor and Chair, Department
of Business Administration
(Economics).
Kelly
is versed in the
history of economic
thought as well
as sociological
applications of
economics into
family behaviors.
He
also spent 14
years as a college
basketball coach
(Coach of the Year
in the NJCAA)
before becoming
a regional scout
for the Seattle
SuperSonics. Performs
player analysis
for the NBA draft
and advance scouting
of upcoming NBA
opponents.

M.
Maximillion Wilson,
PhD, Assistant Professor,
Chair, Department
of Social and Behavioral
Sciences (Sociology).
Wilson's
previous research
at the University
of Florida focused
on welfare reform
and rural poverty.
Now at Flagler
College, he devotes
much of his time
to research on
contemporary race
and class relations
in Florida. In
his lecture series
on the history
and contemporary
consequences of
the Civil Rights
Movement in St.
Augustine, he emphasizes
the important contribution
of the local experience
in shaping the
current nature
of race relations
in America today.
