Flagler women’s XC finishes third at regionals

LAKE WALES, Fla. − The Flagler College women’s cross country team finished third with 64 points at the NAIA Region XIV Meet Saturday morning. Three Flagler harriers finished in the top 11 led by Stephanie Guy (Lakeville, Mass./Westfield State College) who placed fifth with a time of 20:31 over the 5K course. Savannah College of Art and Design place first as a team with 24 points and Hilary White cruised to an individual win with a time of 18:35, nearly a minute better than teammate Francine Nzilampa.

Lindsay DiBona (Glastonbury, Conn./Glastonbury HS)
finished ninth with a time of 20:57 and Jamie Stanish (Shavertown, Pa./Dallas HS) placed 11th with a time of 21:23. Anna Kroeger (Destin, Fla./Fort Walton Beach HS) crossed the finish line at 22:08, good for 17th place and Ali Melton (Fort Collins, Colo./Poudre HS) rounded out the scorers for Flagler with a time of 22:28, a 22nd place finish.
