Lady Saints finish 20th at Disney Classic
LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. − Stephanie Guy (Lakeville, Mass./Westfield State College) of Flagler College finished the 5K course with a time of 20:06.92 and place 60th at the annual Disney Classic Saturday morning at the Wide World of Sports Complex.
As a team, Flagler placed 20th with a total of 526 points. The University of Florida placed first in the team standings with 39 points as its top five runners finished in the top 12. Sonja Friend-Uhl won the individual race as an unattached runner with a time of 17:20.00.
Lindsey DiBona (Glastonbury, Conn.) finished 106th with a time of 21:01.18. Jamie Stanish (Shavertown, Pa./Dallas HS) finished 112th (21:08.55). Ali Melton crossed the finish line with a time of 21:46.06, in149th place. Anna Kroeger placed 194th with a time of 22:42.83 to round out the scoring for Flagler.
Amber Lane crossed the line at 24:17.60. Chelsie Anderson (Houlton, Wisc./Hudson Senior HS) finished with a time of 24:55.70.
The women’s next meet will be Friday at the Hatter Invitational held in DeLand.
