Lady Saints finish 5th at ERAU/Smoothie King Meet
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Stephanie Guy (Lakeville, Mass./Westfield State College) of Flagler College finished the 5K course with a time of 21:25.65 and place fourth at the annual Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University/Smoothie King Women’s Cross Country Meet Saturday morning.
As a team, Flagler placed fifth with a total of 137 points. Florida Tech placed first in the team standings with 52 points and Kristina Aronson of Rollins College won the individual race with a time of 20:54.75.
Lindsey Dibura finished 15th with a time of 22:07.13. Jamie Stanish (Shavertown, Pa./Dallas HS) finished 24th (22:54.77). Ali Melton crossed the finish line with a time of 23:25.23, good for 35th place. Chelsie Anderson (Houlton, Wisc./Hudson Senior HS) placed 78th with a time of 25:53.08 to round out the scorers for the Saints.
The women’s next meet will be Oct. 8 at the Disney Classic held in Orlando.
