Saints finish 6th at ERAU/Smoothie King Meet

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. | Matt Mosshart (Vero Beach, Fla./Vero Beach HS) of Flagler College finished the 8K course with a time of 28:43.18 and place sixth at the annual Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University/Smoothie King Menfs Cross Country Meet Saturday morning.

As a team, Flagler placed sixth with a total of 151 points. Embry-Riddle placed first in the team standings with 35 points and Clint Bentley of Stetson University won the individual race with a time of 27:50.61.

Jack Galley (Vero Beach, Fla./Vero Beach HS) finished 26th with a time of 30:32.35. Ryan McManus (Seminole, Fla./Seminole HS) finished 37th (31:25.80) and was followed by teammate Adam Muller in 38th place with a time of 31:41.45. Shane Livensparger (Angola, Ind./Angola HS) placed 61st with a time of 33:37.24 to round out the scorers for the Saints.

Brandon Collins finished with a time of 34:10.05 and Alex Clay (Orange Park, Fla./Ridgeview HS) crossed the line at 35:59.10.

The menfs next meet will be Oct. 8 at the Disney Classic at Orlando.
