Allenbaugh leads Lady Saints past Lady Lions, 58-57
 
OPA LOCKA, Fla. - Jamie Allenbaugh (Pittsburgh, Pa./West Virginia Wesleyan College) hit a 3-foot jumper with three seconds left to secure a 58-57 victory for Flagler College over Florida Memorial University in the Florida Sun Conference opener for both teams Wednesday night at the Robinson Athletic Center.
 
Allenbaugh led Flagler (8-9, 1-0 Florida Sun) with a game-high 25 points and she added a season-high 16 rebounds. Meaggen Anderson (Inverness, Fla./Citrus HS), the FSC Player of the Week, added 18 points and eight rebounds for the Lady Saints. Brittney Garmon (St. Augustine, Fla./St./ Augustine HS) chipped in with 12 rebounds and seven points.
 
Makeda Gleaton led Florida Memorial (2-13, 0-1) with 13 points while Marissa Davenport added 10 points and seven rebounds as a reserve. Courtney Jones grabbed a team-high 12 rebounds for the Lady Lions.
 
Flagler will host Palm Beach Atlantic University on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Flagler Gym.
