Roberta Favis, Professor Emeritus of Art History at Stetson University, will discuss "The Ponce de Leon Studios: Artists and Salons in Florida's Gilded Age” on Feb. 5 in Flagler College’s Flagler Room.

Adele Reinhartz, professor of religious studies at the University of Ottawa, will discuss “Holy Words in Hollywood: the Bible, Film and American Identity" on Feb. 4 at the Lewis Auditorium at Flagler College.

On Jan. 18, Marlowe will discuss his father, Hugh Marlowe, as part of the St. Augustine Film Festival and will show clips from his father’s films and discuss their content in relation to his father’s career.

In less than a year, Brianna Angelakis has gone from amateur art student to a rising name in the art world. A senior English and fine arts double major with a minor in illustration at Flagler College, Angelakis has recently landed exhibits nationwide.

As Flagler College marks the 125th anniversary of the former Hotel Ponce de Leon, the 2013 Community Lecture Series presents, “The Hotel Ponce de Leon Deconstructed: Building the Future for Modern America.”

Beginning Jan. 17 and running through Jan. 20, the festival will include six comedies, four thrillers, one musical, one very cool dance film, two 3D animated films for kids, two documentaries and a skateboard film.
