Flagler to host symposium on music education history

Flagler College will play host to the St. Augustine Symposium on Music Education History from May 28-31.

The event will feature three days of presentations and discussions on a variety of topics in the field with the keynote address delivered by Dr. Jere Humphreys, professor of music at Arizona State University.

The symposium will also include a performance by the Brass Band of Central Florida at 8 p.m. on May 30 in the Lewis Auditorium at Flagler College. The performance is free and open to the public.

The St. Augustine Symposium on the History of Music Education is being organized and sponsored by the History Special Research Interest Group of The National Association for Music Education (NAfME) and Flagler College.
