Deborah Thompson has been selected to serve as the College’s Interim Vice President for Enrollment Management.

Flagler College President William T. Abare, Jr., announced today that Deborah Thompson has been selected to serve as the College’s Interim Vice President for Enrollment Management.
Thompson has served as vice president for enrollment management & communications at Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC. A native Virginian, she is a cum laude graduate of Emory & Henry College in Emory, Virginia, and earned her master’s degree with highest honors in counseling and human development from Radford University in Radford, Virginia.
Prior to joining the administration at Presbyterian College, she served as vice president of enrollment management at Stetson University in DeLand, Florida, from 2001-2011. She also served in the senior administration of her alma mater, Emory & Henry College, from 1989-2001.
As Flagler’s interim vice president for enrollment management, Thompson will assume leadership responsibilities for the offices Admissions and Financial Aid, and will serve as a senior officer of the College.
President Abare said, “We are very fortunate to have someone as talented and experienced as Deborah Thompson leading our student recruitment program. She is exceptionally knowledgeable about current trends in higher education and is well-versed in all aspects of her position. In addition to being highly professional, Ms. Thompson brings a great deal of energy and passion to her job. I am delighted that she will be joining our staff next week.”
