Beginning this spring, Flagler College will offer the William L. Proctor award to honor students for outstanding research and writing at the undergraduate and graduate level on the history, archeology and historic architecture of St. Augustine.
The $1000 award is funded by the Historic St. Augustine Research Institute. HSARI will also offer other smaller prizes at the discretion of the Institute.
The competition is open to all undergraduates and graduate students studying history, archeology, architecture or other related programs. Individuals must be full or part-time students. Papers shall address the history, archeology, or historical architecture of the city of St. Augustine in some substantial manner.
