Senator Mike Haridopolos will speak at Flagler's spring commencement ceremony on April 21.
Flagler College will hold its spring commencement ceremony Saturday, April 21, for graduating seniors. Approximately 390 students will receive diplomas at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre.
The commencement speaker will be Senator Mike Haridopolos who has been in office since 2003 and now serves as the President of the Florida Senate.
In addition to serving in the Legislature, Senator Haridopolos has taught at the college level since 1983. He has co-authored two books and currently teaches at the University of Florida.
Senator Haridopolos and his wife, Dr. Stephanie Haridopolos, a family physician, live in Merritt Island, Fl., with their three children Reagan, Hayden and Alexis.
Commencement begins at 9 a.m. and is not open to the public.
The Flagler College Public Administration program will graduate 15 seniors in a second ceremony at 4 p.m. in the Flagler College Auditorium.
