Patrick Moser's "Not Bobby" will be part of an exhibit showing at Florida School for the Arts through Nov. 10.

Works by Flagler College art faculty members Patrick Moser, Loren Myhre and Russell Maycumber will be exhibited as part of the visiting artist series at Florida School for the Arts on the Palatka campus of St. Johns River State College.

The exhibit will feature paintings, drawings, sculptures and video art pieces.

“Loren’s work is just incredibly formally sophisticated. He just really knows how to put things together and invent,” said Patrick Moser, Art and Design Department chair and associate professor of painting and drawing. “Russell’s work is kind of frenetic and appealing in how it sort of refuses to be easily categorized. He’s pure creative energy. Loren is pure energy too but its thoughtful and kind of arriving at its conclusions at a different pace. Strangely I see myself in between those two. I’m just really happy to be able to show with them.”

The exhibit, which opens Oct. 20, will be on display through November 10, 2011. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Gallery exhibits are free and open to the public.

Florida School of the Arts is at 5001 St. Johns Ave. in Palatka. For more information, call (386) 312-4300 or visit online at floarts.org.
