Professor Earns Certified Public Relations Counselor designation

Rosemary Tutt
Assistant Professor of Communication Rosemary Tutt, APR

Flagler College Assistant Professor of Communication Rosemary Tutt, APR, has earned her credential of Certified Public Relations Counselor (CPRC).

CPRC is the second tier credential offered by the Florida Public Relations Association. The certification process was developed to recognize professional growth and achievement of senior members who have already earned the Accredited in Public Relations (APR) designation. Candidates for CPRC must be a member of FPRA and have a minimum of 10 years of professional practice in public relations.

Tutt now joins an elite group of less than 80 practitioners throughout the state.

In addition to teaching at Flagler, Tutt is also the faculty advisor to the Public Relations Student Society of America chapter, as well as the Dow Advantage Group, a student-run public relations agency serving non-profit clients in the St. Augustine area

She earned her M.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from Kent State University and her B.A. in Public Relations from Ursuline College. Prior to her teaching career, she served as a professional public relations consultant as the owner and founder of a full-service public relations agency providing multi-media programs to a variety of non-profit and health care clients.
