Flagler to Host International Film Scholars

Flagler College will host two international film scholars who will speak on the works of John Frankenheimer and Alfred Hitchcock on Wednesday, Feb. 23, at 6 p.m. in Room 300 of Kenan Hall, and Thursday, Feb. 24, at 7 p.m. in the Gamache-Koger Theater of the Ringhaver Student Center, 50 Sevilla St.

Barton Palmer and Murray Pomerance will give a panel presentation on their new book on Frankenheimer's early films, including "The Manchurian Candidate" and "Seconds."

Both scholars have written and edited numerous books on film and cultural studies.

This event is free and open to the public, and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
