Cal Colgan, a spring graduate of Flagler college and former co-editor of the college's online student newspaper, recently won two awards in the Florida College Press Association's 2009 Better Newspaper Contest.

Flagler College will welcome Woodrow Wilson Scholar Dwight Pitcaithley on Wednesday, March 16, with a talk on "The Secession of Florida in 1861: Reflections After 150 Years."
