C-SPAN’s interactive bus stops by Flagler
The C-SPAN Bus, the cable network’s traveling interactive multimedia center, popped in for a visit at Flagler College on Dec. 5 to let students check out its touchscreen computers and tune into live feeds of broadcasts.
The network, which broadcasts public affairs and Congressional coverage, uses the vehicle for community outreach across the country to showcase the network’s video library and educational resources.
C-SPAN’s American History TV was also on campus in December to record a Community Lecture Series event with Flagler Assistant Professor Judith Burdan. The lecture ran in February. This was the second time the network broadcast a Flagler professor’s lecture in the past year.
