Alumni Roundup

New England
Atop the Prudential Tower, alumni and guests enjoyed a foggy view of Boston on June 28. With over 50 in attendance, it was evident that Flagler graduates are well-represented in New England.

Greenville, South Carolina
It was a first for Flagler Alumni: an event in beautiful Greenville, South Carolina, on March 12 when a small group of 12 alumni gathered at Stax Grill.

Flagler President Dr. William T. Abare Jr. joined 36 alumni in Atlanta at Gordon Biersch Brewery in Midtown on Feb. 26. A jovial crowd enjoyed hearing the state of the college from Dr. Abare — all  just a day after a snowstorm shutdown the roads in and out of the city.

Tallahassee  Chapter
More than 65 guests showed up at the University Center Club in Tallahassee, Florida, on March 19 for a view of the sun going down over the FSU Stadium. It was an evening filled with Flagler fellowship, especially with our graduates from the Tallahassee campus.

First Coast chapter
It was a hot summer evening on July 30 at the rooftop bar at Black Sheep in Jacksonville. The heat didn’t deter the 40 alumni who came out to network and socialize with one another while enjoying a mid-summer drink and gorgeous view of Jacksonville.

First Coast chapter-speed networking
On March 3, 17 local successful alumni participated in our bi-annual Alumni Speed Networking event for students. Alumni representing various industries, from small business owners, educators, professionals in the sports industry and finance spent an hour imparting their own expertise. Over 20 students participated, learned interview skills and perfected their elevator speeches.
