Ponce De Leon Hall
74 King Street

This restored former luxury hotel is the centerpiece of the college. It is currently used as the college’s main building, with a dining hall, residence hall and administrative offices.

Oil tycoon Henry Flagler built the Hotel Ponce de Leon in 1888. Many famous faces visited the hotel at its peak, including actors Will Rogers and Gary Cooper and presidents Grover Cleveland, Warren G. Harding and Teddy Roosevelt.

The building was designed by famous architects Carrere and Hastings, who also worked on the New York Public Library and other notable structures. The Ponce remains one of the best examples of Spanish-Moorish Renaissance architecture in the world. It holds National Historic Landmark status, the highest recognition awarded to historic locations such as Pearl Harbor, Mount Vernon and the birthplace of Martin Luther King, Jr.
