This database offers indexing for 8,175 journals, including full text for nearly 4,700 scholarly publications. Offers information in nearly every area of academic study including: social sciences, humanities, education, computer sciences, engineering, physics, chemistry, language and linguistics, arts & literature, medical sciences, ethnic studies, and many more.
Indexes and abstracts articles from English-language periodicals published in the United States and Great Britain plus the full text of selected periodicals. Coverage includes The New York Times Science Section (published weekly on Tuesday). Abstracting coverage begins with periodicals published in March 1993. Full text coverage begins in January 1995.
Provides online access to back issues of selected scholarly journals in a variety of academic disciplines including the arts, business, demographic studies, humanities, social sciences, and science.

The legal component of the database includes comprehensive, current legal information. PubMed lets you search more than 16 million bibliographic citations and abstracts in the fields of medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, and preclinical sciences. It provides access to MEDLINE® and to articles in selected life sciences journals not included in MEDLINE.

Books

To find books, browse through the collection on the first floor of the library to find reference works. Most reference books in the sciences will be found in the Q ’s and T's, but some specialized items will be found elsewhere. The following reference books will get you started (all found on the first floor).
