Have Skills That Travel!

Remember, to get help selecting a database: use the Find Articles / Use Databases link on Proctor Library's Web site.

You can browse databases within a subject area through the Library Web site. For instance, if you need business articles, click on the Find Articles / Use Databases link and choose "Business" from the list at the top of the page.

And you know how to search Proquest, a general index. What about other article indexes? Won't they look different?

Yes. But once you've learned the basics, it will be like driving a car you've borrowed from a friend. You know that there's a switch to turn on the lights or the radio--you just need to locate the controls. Even though they may look different, article indexes have similar features. Check for help screens or ask a librarian.
