In May 2010 I visited the Abe Lincoln's Presidental Library in Springfield, IL.
One year later, on my first day there, I visited the National Library of Scotland.

Services for Faculty:

  • Can provide in-depth personalized research help for faculty at the reference desk or by appointment (please refer to the bottom of the page for complete contact information).
  • Will conduct library instruction sessions for classes at the request of faculty members to promote and improve student knowledge of the library and its resources. Simply fill out the online form to request a session or call or e-mail me.
  • Collaborate with departmental faculty to improve the library's collections, both in-print and online, and create library resource guides to help students start their research (please see links below to access these sites).
  • Can assist faculty members navigate both the Chicago Manual of Style and the MLA Handbook.
Services for Students:
  • Can provide in-depth, personalized research assistance to students at the reference desk or by appointment (please refer to the bottom of the page for complete contact information).
  • Am able to assist students with the research/writing of library and research assignments. Some assignments need detailed research help, and I recommend setting up an appointment for a more leisurly discussion than a question at the reference desk can afford. My office is located in one of the offices behind the circulation desk.
  • Can assist students navigate the Chicago Manual of Style and create footnotes/Bibliography or Parenthetical/References for papers.
  • Can assist students navigate the MLA Handbook and create in-text citations and Reference lists.
