To locate a SWOT analysis for a particular company, use the database Business Source Premier.

1. Begin by selecting the "Articles & Databases" link from the Library homepage:

2. Select Business Source Premier from the alphabetical list of databases:

3. Click the link for "Company Profiles":

4. Type in the name of the company you are researching and click Browse:

5. When you see your company on the list of results, select the link for the "Datamonitor Report":

6. The Datamonitor Report opens as a PDF file. On the left hand side of the page will be the Table of Contents. Select the "SWOT Analysis" from this list to see it:

7. The SWOT Analysis will load on the next screen:

8. Not every company will have a SWOT Analysis in the Datamonitor Report. In this case, you can get a general idea of what a SWOT Analysis may look like for your company by looking at the SWOT Analysis for its top competitors. Select the "Top Competitors" link in the Table of Contents:

9. Use one or more of your company's top competitors and begin the process all over.
