1. When you search the Proctor Library catalog, you may come across a record for a book that lists its location as “Electronic Resources” and its call number as “netLibrary.” When you open the record, you will see a "Web Link" at the bottom of the page. This link will take you to the electronic book, accessible through the netLibrary database:
2. Once you have clicked on the Web Link, you'll be taken to a page like the one below. Scan the contents at the bottom of the page (under "From inside the ebook") to see if the book will be useful to you, or click on "View this eBook" to open the book:
3. Once you have opened the eBook, you have a few viewing choices: 1) browse page by page by clicking on the "Next" and "Previous" buttons in the upper righthand corner of the screen; 2) skip to a particular chapter by following the links in the Table of Contents on the lefthand side of the screen; or 3) search for the location of specific words within the book by using the "Search inside this eBook" feature on the bottom lefthand side of the screen (not pictured):
Due to copyright restrictions, there are limits on emailing, saving, and printing from eBooks. Use the buttons at the top of the Adobe Acrobat Reader to email, save, or print small sections of the eBook.
Please note that the books in our Flagler College netLibrary Collection are part of a collection that we share with approximately 400 other libraries in the southeastern United States. A specific book may not be available at certain times because it may already be in use by a user from one of these other libraries. If the book you need is in use, follow the link that will allow you to set up an alert when the book is once again available. NetLibrary will send you an email letting you know that your book is ready to be viewed.
We hope this electronic resource will be of great value to you. If you need any further assistance in your use of our netLibrary Collection, please contact a Proctor Library Reference Librarian at 904-819-6331 or library@flagler.edu.
