How to Locate Interviews

Several of the Library's databases allow you to search specifically for interviews. Three of the best databases to use for this purpose are Academic Search Premier, ProQuest, and Wilson OmniFile Full Text Mega.

1. To begin, start on the Library homepage and select the link for "Articles & Databases":

2. Using Academic Search Premier as an example, select the appropriate database from the alphabetical list of databases:

3. On the opening page for Academic Search Premier, look for the "Document Type" drop down menu and set it to "Interview":

4. Next, enter in the name of the person for whom you would like to find an interview and click "Search":

5. On the next page of results, click on the link for "full text" to access a particular interview:

6. In ProQuest opening page, select the link for "More Search Options":

7. Then set the drop down menu for "Document type" to "Interview". Begin your searches after doing this:

8. In Wilson OmniFile's opening page, use the drop down menu for "Document Type" to set the search to "interview". Then begin your searches:
