Parents Leadership Council

Student at graduationThe Parents Leadership Council (PLC) at Flagler College is a select group of current Flagler parents, who volunteer to serve renewable one-year terms. PLC members are recruited based on their ability and willingness to serve as ambassadors of Flagler College and their interest in developing resources that support the Flagler experience for all students.

The PLC facilitates opportunities for parents to become involved in the life of the College and to preserve, enhance, and improve the quality of the Flagler College experience. PLC members host events, enhance relationships, provide contacts for other Flagler parents, and work to stimulate participation in Family Weekend.

Members of the PLC have an important impact on parent engagement at the College through annual gifts of $1,000 or greater, volunteer work, and thoughtful counsel to administration and staff.

Mission Statement

The Parents Leadership Council (PLC) at Flagler College is a volunteer group whose members serve as advisors, ambassadors, and supporters of the College. The council provides a way for parents to communicate ideas, questions, and concerns to the administration of the College. Members of the council also aid in the philanthropic efforts to support the College’s institutional priorities. The PLC presents an opportunity for parents to become involved in the life of the College while working to expand the educational opportunities and enhance the student experience.

We encourage you to participate. For more information, please contact the Office of Institutional Advancement at (904) 819-6437.
