Steve Fell became the co-strength and conditioning coach in February. He currently works at The Refinery Athletic Club and Wellness Center in St. Augustine as a physical therapist/performance coach.
Fell has assisted with the strength and condition program at his alma mater, Towson University. In addition, he served as the physical preparation coach for the Baltimore Blast of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL). Fell was responsible for establishing training methodologies to help athletes optimize their performance during competition, while preventing injury throughout the season.
Fell was a four-year member of the men's soccer team at Towson. He served as its team captain for two years. He earned all-conference honors on the America East Conference and the Colonial Athletic Association. Fell was selected as Towson's Rookie of the Year. In 2005, he was drafted by the Blast and played three seasons in the MISL.
Fell received his bachelor's degree from Towson in 2005 and earned his doctorate from the University of St. Augustine in 2012. He has been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) since 2008 and a Functional Movement Systems Specialist (SFMA/FMS) since 2012. In 2014, Fell completed his advanced certification for manual therapy (MTC) from the University of St. Augustine.
