Nicki Hicks began her first season as the co-head cheerleading coach at Flagler College for the 2011-2012 season; now she enters her third season as co-head coach.
Hicks specializes in marketing for small businesses. She spent the 2010-2011 season as the head cheerleading coach at her alma mater, Saint Joseph's College of Maine. She also served as the assistant coach at St. Joe's in 2009-10. Hicks coached the team to a JAMfest national title in the all girls collegiate division in 2011.
A 2008 cum laude graduate of St. Joe's, Hicks was a member of the cheerleading squad from 2004-2008. She earned her bachelor's in business administration with a concentration in Marketing. Hicks served as a captain for her squad from 2005 - 2008 and was its president the last two years. She was the vice president as a freshman. As a senior, she earned the team's Academic and Coach's Awards.
Prior to St. Joe's, Hicks was a cheerleader at Maranacook Community High School in Readfield, Maine. She captained the squad from 2002-2003.
