Professional Profile:

A native of Sweden, Professor Sandberg earned a Ph.D. in Food and Resource Economics from the University of Florida, where he focused his dissertation on “The Impact of Historical and Regional Networks on Trade Volumes in the Western Hemisphere: A Gravity Model Analysis.” He earned an M.A. in Applied Economics and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. His areas of interest include international trade, gravity models, and applied microeconomics.
