Professional Profile:

Professor Sand is a seasoned television and communications professional with more than thirty years’ experience in television writing, production and development. He earned his B.S. degree in Economics at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He has created, written and produced a wide range of television projects, including: 

• Created, wrote and produced “House Party,” a daytime series for NBC
• Created, wrote and produced “Wilton North,” a late-night series for FOX TV
• Developed and produced multiple Emmy Award-winning “Late Night with David Letterman” programs for NBC
• Produced multiple Emmy Award-winning “SCTV Comedy Network” programs for NBC
• Produced, wrote and developed more than ten sit-com pilots for CBS, NBC and ABC
• Produced and write pilot for “New Candid Camera” for CBS and Allen Funt Productions
• Produced the “Mike Douglas Show” daytime talk show for Group W. Productions
