
The Learning Resource Center (LRC) exists to help you excel in your course work by offering academic assistance and a quiet place to study. The LRC is open Monday through Thursday from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm and from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm on Fridays. However, each division has their own hours of operation. Printers available as well as space for small group study. The LRC is located under the Dining Hall in the breezeway next to Ponce Hall. Directed by Mrs. Barbara Wedow, the Accounting Lab provides assistance in the field of accountancy—in particular, financial and managerial accounting. Students can obtain assistance with their homework, test prep, and general material review.

Keystone Supplemental Instruction sessions, directed by Professor Alex Asbille, support the freshman keystone seminar every spring semester by reviewing concepts, themes, and ideas found in the primary course texts. Students also participate in writing and discussion nights by completing prompts derived from various course materials.

The Spanish Lab, directed by Professor Maria Jose Maguire allows students to work individually with an experienced Spanish tutor in order to sharpen their writing and speaking skills. Tutors can also provide tips for learning new vocabulary, remembering verb conjugations, and studying new grammar topics.

The Study Skills Center, directed by Professor Rob Cantu, helps students develop effective test-taking, content reading, time management, speaking, and listening strategies. Help with critical thinking skills and memorization techniques is also available.

The Writing Center will know be open in the evenings of Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 6:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m. in Proctor Library, room 235.
The Sport Management Lab, directed by Professor Anne DeMartini, offers peer tutoring for 100, 200, and 300 level SPM courses. Peers assist students with comprehending course content, understanding program expectations and assignment guidelines, improving study skills and study guide development, utilizing time management skills and implementing test taking strategies.
