The nursing staff is on campus Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There is also a Physician on campus Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Students see the doctor on a first come first serve basis. The College offers a group health insurance plan at a reasonable cost. All students should be able to verify they are covered by other health insurance, when necessary. All athletes are required to purchase the health insurance, unless the student can verify that he/she is protected by other health insurance plans that meet Federal standards and standards established by the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) and the insurance company is chartered in the United States. The charge for health insurance is not subject to adjustment or refund once it has been added to the student account. Please visit the Business Services section of MyFlagler for more detailed information regarding the health insurance plan.
