The Staff Welfare Committee is pleased to provide you with information regarding the Flagler College Above and Beyond Award. This award is presented in recognition of extra efforts made by employees “above and beyond” their assigned responsibilities to help improve the Flagler College experience and environment for students, parents, employees and all constituents of the college.
Complete the nomination form and return it to the Human Resources Office. In order to be nominated an employee must be a full or part-time employee of Flagler College and meet at least on the following criteria:
You will need to explain your reasons for nominating an employee for the award and list the names of any other employees involved in the project or event. The person submitting the nomination should sign and date the form in the space provided and have their Manager/Supervisor sign and date the form as well.
Once all required signatures have been obtained, the form should be turned in directly to the Office of Human Resources. A representative from Human Resources will then submit the nomination to the Staff Welfare Committee. The Staff Welfare Committee will review in confidence each nomination submitted during one of their monthly meetings.
If the criteria outlined on the Nomination Form have been met and/or exceeded, the Staff Welfare Committee will recommend the nomination and submit it to the President for final approval. Dr. Abare will then present the Flagler College Above and Beyond Award to the award recipient during the President’s Advisory Council (PAC) meeting.
