Flagler College - An Unparalleled Value

Scheduling Appointments

Student Testimonial: Emily Youngman

Whether it is the quality of academic programming, the beauty of our campus and setting, or the unparalleled value we afford students and families, Flagler College has been recognized as among the best in the nation.

There are several ways to schedule an appointment. The most convenient method for many students is to call the Counseling Center directly at (904) 819-6305. You may also request an appointment by e-mailing . If you choose to use e-mail please include your preferred days/times for an appointment and the office manager will reply as quickly as possible. You may also come by in person to schedule an appointment. The Center is located in Palm Cottage (8 Valencia Street) between Wiley Hall (Admissions) and Lewis House (mens dorm). If no one is at the desk when you come by to schedule an appointment, please use the form on the desk to leave your request in the box next to it, along with your contact information. We will make every attempt to see you as soon as possible.

How many sessions?

This really varies. Some students get what they need from 1-2 sessions. Most typically, students are able to meet their goals in 3-12 sessions.

Appointments are usually scheduled once a week, but the frequency depends on your needs. You and your counselor will determine how often you need to meet.

Appointment Policy

If you have a regular and/or recurring appointment with a counselor and you must miss the appointment, please call or email us in advance. If you do not cancel in advance, you must call or email the Counseling Center at 819-6305 after your missed appointment in order to be rescheduled. In order to hold your next scheduled session, you will need to confirm you will be attending that appointment.

Please know that we work hard to accommodate the needs of all students on campus and that each appointment is important. Your communication and patience is greatly appreciated.
