Costs & Financial Aid

College is an excellent investment. Over a lifetime, college graduates earn an average of nearly $700,000 more than high school graduates. But costs vary widely for each institution, and just as important is the value you'll receive. That value is the balance of the cost paid and the benefits received, benefits such as class size, student-faculty relationships, financial aid, location, the opportunities for gradute studies, whether you can graduate in four years and the success graduates enjoy.

Flagler is one of the least expensive private colleges in the nation and is recognized in MoneyGuide, U.S. News & World Report and America's Best 100 Buys as a top value in education at an affordable cost (see Rankings, this section). Florida students may also qualify for state grants, such as the Florida Resident Access Grant, that offset the cost of an education. For more information, check the Financial Aid pages in this section.

The annual cost for tuition, fees, room and board at Flagler is about the same as state universities. And 81 percent of Flagler students receive help with costs through financial aid. Students can also graduate from Flagler in four years (the average at public institutions in Florida is 4.8 to 5.1 years).
