Professional Profile:
Professor Barber earned his Ph.D., a Master’s in Philosophy and an M.A. in Sociology from The University of Kansas. He earned his B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico. His research interests include race and ethnic studies, social problems and medical sociology. He is widely published in academic journals and has presented at conferences in the United States and Denmark.
