   The team opened up at home with a big win against Johnson & Wales University of Miami, Florida, defeating it 106-55.
   The Saints had double-digit scoring from junior guard Carlton Summers with 20 points, senior All-American guard John Randolph had 17, red-shirt freshman guard Bo Gooch 13, and true freshman Nate Bender had 10.
   Johnson & Wales was led by Daniel Wallace who had 16 points.

    The Saints beat visiting Lyndon State from Vermont 92-55.
   Flagler was led by junior forward Darrell Freeman with 18 points, four rebounds, six steals, two assists and a block. Junior guard Carlton Summers had 14 points, six rebounds, two steals and two assists. Junior guard Chris Crumpler was effective both offensively and defensively with 12 points, three rebounds, two steals, three assists and a block to his credit. Senior all-American guard John Randolph added 11 points, six rebounds and four steals to complete the Saints offense.
   Lyndon State was led by Kevin Trask with 14 points.

   Flagler 3-0 beat Florida Christian at home by 51 points.
   The Saints were led by junior guard Carlton Summers with 21 points, four rebounds and a steal. Senior All-American John Randolph was one assist shy of a triple double but earned his first double-double of the season with 19 points, 10 rebounds, nine assists, five steals and a block. Junior guard Chris Crumpler added 16 points, two rebounds, two steals, a block and an assist. Red-shirt freshman Bo Gooch had 16 points, two steals and a rebound.
   Florida Christian was led by Jake Deer 19 points.

Flagler College 80 - Edward Waters College 77

    In a close game that went back and forth in both halves, the Saints beat visiting Edward Waters College Tigers 80-77.
    Flagler was led by John Randolph with 18 points, six rebounds, four assists, three steals and a block. Chris Crumpler had 14 points, three rebounds, three steals, two assists and two blocks. Darrell Freeman had 13 points, three rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block. Junior guard Carlton Summers had 13 points, two rebounds and a steal. Junior center Rafael Peixoto had 11 points, seven rebounds and three blocks.
    The game came down to the buzzer when the Tigers were unable to tie the game with two last minute 3-point shots.
   Edward Waters was led by Torrance Toomer 14, Antawan Johnson 13, Ronald Norman 13 and Adrian Johnson 11.
   With the win, the Saints improve to 4-0 for the season.

The Saints traveled to Deland to face NCAA Div. I Stetson University. The Flagler men were defeated by the Hatters 78-56. Leading the way for the Saints, senior guard Jon Randolph grabbed 24 points, seven rebounds and seven steals. Darrell Freeman added 13 points in the loss.

Game #6 Report

Flagler College 73 - Florida Tech 62

Flagler College hosted NCAA Div. II Florida Tech in a non-conference game. The Saints came away with a 73-63 victory over FIT. Chris Crumpler led the Saints with 21 points and nine rebounds followed by Jon Randolph who finished with 16 points and seven rebounds.

Game #7 Report

Flagler College 82- Claflin College 83

    The Saints came up short in an overtime loss to Claflin College, 83-82, in the first game of the EARU Thanksgiving Classic. Flagler scored only 9 points in the overtime period while Claflin just squeezed by with 10 points.    Chris Crumpler led the scoring with 28. John Randolph finished with 19 points, and Darrell Freeman added 18

Game #8 Report

Flagler College 72 - Geneva 77

    The Saints matched up against Geneva College at the ERAU Thanksgiving Classic, losing 77-72. Darrell Freeman led all scorers with 30 points, and John Randolph added 20.
    Stefan Grundberg, Tim Sawyer and Terrance Ward all finished with 18 points for Geneva.
   The loss puts the Saints at 5-3 overall.

Game #9 Report

Flagler College 82 - Florida College 75

   Flagler visited Florida College for a non-conference game and came away with an 82-75 win. Darrell Freeman finished with 25 points and four rebounds, and John Randolph added 19 points and five rebounds to give the Saints the win.
    The Saints improve their record to 6-3 overall.

Game #10 Report

Flagler College 74 - Southern Wesleyan 72

   In Flagler’s first game at the Berry College Classic the Saints beat Southern Wesleyan University 74-72. John Randolph went 4-4 from the foul line leading the Saints with 23 points. Carlton Summers added 15 points, and Darrell Freeman added 14.
   Jerans Rapley and Brandon Allen led the way for SWU with 21 and 20 points.

Game #11 Report

Flagler College 78 - Shorter College 77

    Flagler met Shorter College in its second game of the Berry College Classic.The Saints led Shorter by 3 at halftime and managed to hold onto their lead in the second half, winning 78-77. John Randolph scored a season high 36 points to give the Saints their second win at the Berry College Classic.
   Shorter College had five players score in double figures. Flagler improves to 8-3 overall.

 

Game #12 Report

Flagler College 85 - Western Montana 72

    The Saints traveled to Orlando for the Disney World Classic, and in their first game they defeated the University of Montana-Western 85-72. Darrell Freeman and John Randolph did most of the scoring, with 20 and 17 points.
   Neil Christiaens led the way for UMW finishing with 16 points and nine rebounds.

Game #13 Report

Flagler College 72 - Southern Poly-Tech State University 76

   The Saints played Southern Poly State University in their next game of the Disney World Classic. Flagler’s 3-point shooting seemed to be the deciding factor in the game against Southern Poly State University.
   The Saints shot just 3-17 from behind the arc while SPSU shot an impressive 8-19. The Saints had five players score in double figures but came up short in the 76-72 loss.
   Maurice Vaughn led SPSU with 25 points and nine rebounds.
   Flagler’s record moves to 9-4 overall.

   The Saints lost to visiting Mary Washington University from Virginia 85-80. Flagler was led by senior guard John Randolph who was the team’s leading scorer with 22 points and six rebounds. Senior forward Darrell Freeman added 19 points, four rebounds and two steals. Junior guard Chris Crumpler had 11 points and four rebounds. Junior center Shannon Diamond was the leading rebounder for the Saints with seven boards.
   The Saints were up by 9 at halftime but couldn’t hold on. Flagler had 20 turnovers on the night.
   Mary Washington was led by Erik Rodriguez who had 22 points.

Flagler College 92 - University of Massachusetts - Boston 56

   Five Saints were in double digits for points when Flagler beat visiting U-Mass Boston 92-56 in the first game in the Flagler College Tournament.
   Junior guard Carlton Summers had a team-high 19 points. Juniors Chris Crumpler and Darrell Freeman each poured in 13 points on the night to go along with three rebounds and seven rebounds. Senior All-American guard John Randolph had an all-around game with 10 points, two steals and five assists. Junior center Shannon Diamond added 10 points and seven rebounds and shot 5 for 6 from the field.
   Flagler held visiting U-Mass Boston to just 16 points in the first half.
   U-Mass Boston was led by Eric Summerville who had a game high 21 points.

Flagler College 59 - Johnson & Wales 53

   The Saints won the Flagler College Tournament against Johnson & Wales in overtime 59-53.
   Junior guard Chris Crumpler led the Saints' charge with 13 points and six rebounds. Senior guard John Randolph was second in scoring on the night with 12 points, two rebounds, three assists and two steals. Shannon Diamond had a team high 9 boards.
   The Saints found themselves down 17-33 at halftime but regrouped and outscored Johnson & Wales in the second half and in overtime. The Saints were down as much as 20 points at one time.
   John Randolph was named MVP of the Flagler College Tournament, and Carlton Summers was named to the all-tournament team.
   The Saints improved to 11-5 on the season.

Flagler College 91 - N.C. Wesleyan 77

   Flagler beat visiting NC Wesleyan College 91-77. The Saints outscored its opponent in the first half 47-31, but the second half was all NC Wesleyan outscoring the Saints 46-44. But the Saints had a nice lead to fall back on.
   The Saints had five players in double digits for scoring. Junior Center Rafael Peixoto had a great night, scoring a team high 22 points and a team high 12 boards. Senior guard John Randolph had an all-around game as well, adding 21 points, eight rebounds, four assists and four steals. Junior Carlton Summers shot 8 of 15 from the floor with 17 points and four assists. Junior Chris Crumpler came off the bench to score 13, and Junior Darrell Freeman had 10 points, four rebounds and four assists.
   As a team Flagler had 22 assists on the night and shot 53 percent from the floor.
    NC Wesleyan was led by Bradley Blue who had a game high 23 points.

 

Game #18 Report

Flagler College 90 - Florida Memorial 59

   The Saints cruised to a 90-59 win against conference team the Florida Memorial Lions. After a couple of close minutes at the beginning of the game, the Saints pulled away at the 8-minute mark in the first half and never looked back.
   At the half the Saints were led by Carlton Summers, who shot 4 of 7 from the field with 12 points, and Chris Crumpler, who was a perfect 3 for 3 from 3-point range, adding 9 points.
    In the second half the Saints continued to roll, and the lead continued to grow. Darrell Freeman had a strong second half, finishing the game with 9 points. Rebounding was a key for the Saints, who out-rebounded their competition 47-32.
    The Saints were led by Crumpler who had 19 points. Summers and John Randolph had an all-around good game. Summers had 16 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Randolph had 15 points, four rebounds and six assists. Jamie Jenkins led the team with eight rebounds.

Flagler College 87 - Webber International 75

   The Saints played their first home conference game of the season and came out victorious against Webber International University 87-75.
    The Saints had a 6-point lead at halftime and built on it in the second. Flagler’s defense held the Warriors to just 28 percent shooting in the first and only 37 percent for the game.
    Four Saints scored in double digits. Junior guard Carlton Summers led the way for the Saints with a game-high 22 points and four assists. Senior All-American guard John Randolph poured in 20 points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals. Junior Center Jamie Jenkins had 12 points, five boards and one block. Junior Rafael Peixoto added 11 points, eight rebounds and three assists.
    The Saints shot 53 percent from the floor on the night.
    Webber was led by Tony Jefferson who had 18 points. The Warriors fall to 0-2 in conference while the Saints improve to 2-0.

Game#20 Report

Flagler College 92 - Florida College 55

   The team rolled to a 92-55 win over non-conference Florida College on Tuesday night. With the win, the Saints improved to 15-5 on the season (2-0 in conference) and are on a six-game winning streak.
   All American senior guard John Randolph was honored for becoming Flagler’s all-time scoring leader (1,842 points). Coach Clark and former career-scoring leader Barry Craig honored Randolph with a game ball to commemorate his accomplishment. He actually surpassed the mark on Dec. 5 against Southern Wesleyan in the Berry College Classic.
    Not only was it a special night for Randolph, but it was a special night for the team. The Saints played some of the best basketball of the season.
   “We had great ball movement, and our defense came out strong from the beginning,” Clark said.
   Flagler held Florida College to 5-24 shooting from the 3-point line. Randolph led all scorers with 25 points. He shot 8 for 9 from the field and was a perfect 4 of 4 from 3-point.
   Carlton Summers had 12 points, and Chris Crumpler added 11. Rafael Peixoto added 9 points and a game-high nine rebounds. On the night the Saints had 24 assists and shot 53 percent from behind the 3-point range.

Flagler College 75 - Embry-Riddle 62

   The Saints won for the first time ever at the Eagles' ICI Center in front of a huge crowd of 1,359 people. The Saints were only up by three at halftime but extended their lead and ended up winning 75-62. Flagler held the Eagles to just 37 percent shooting from the field.
    The Saints were led by junior guard Carlton Summers who had 16 points. Senior guard John Randolph and junior guard Chris Crumpler added 15 and 14 points apiece. Jamie Jenkins had an all-around good night, pulling down a team high nine boards, a game-high seven blocks and 6 points.
    The Eagles got 16 points and nine rebounds from Rich Nolan. Embry-Riddle drops to 13-8 overall and 0-2 in the FSC.
    The Saints improved to 16-5 and 3-0 in the FSC.

Flagler College 85 - Johnson & Wales 70

   For the third time this season the Saints played non-conference foe Johnson & Wales and for the third time beat them, 85-70. Flagler shot 56 percent from the floor while holding its opponent to just 36 percent shooting.
    The Saints had four players in double digits. Senior guard John Randolph led the way pouring in a team-high in points and rebounds with 22 and seven. Junior Darrell Freeman had 18 points and shot 8 of 13 from the floor. Carlton Summers and Jamie Jenkins both had big nights with 17 and 13 points. Jenkins also added six boards.

Flagler College 91 - Warner Southern 77

   For the first time this season the Saints matched up against Warner Southern College and came up victorious. At halftime the score was tied at 42, but the Saints came out hard in the second and secured the win, 91-77.
    Flagler shot 55 percent from the floor and 50 percent from the 3-point line against the Running Royals. The Saints were led by All-American John Randolph who had a game-high 31 points, six rebounds, two assists and three steals. Three other Saints were also in double digits: Juniors Darrell Freeman, Carlton Summers and Chris Crumpler added 19, 18 and 10 points apiece. Freeman also had a team-high nine rebounds.
   Warner Southern was led by Ryan Menton who had 16 points.
   The Saints remain undefeated in the Florida Sun Conference.

   The Saints squeaked by NAIA Division II Edward Waters 102-101 in nearby Jacksonville. Flagler led at half 44 to 40, but it would be a dogfight from there on out. The Saints led in every statisitical category on the night.
    Seven Saints scored in double digits. John Randolph led the way with 21 points and 10 for 10 from the freethrow line. Junior guard Chris Crumpler had 14 points and shot 5 for 10 from the floor. Junior Rafael Peixoto was effective both offensively and defensively with 13 points and a team-high eight rebounds. Darrell Freeman added 12 points and four boards while Jenkins had 11 points and five rebounds. Junior Robbie Reyes added 10 points and four boards.
    The Saints are 19-5 on the season and remain unbeaten in the Florida Sun Conference.

   The Saints defeated conference foe Florida Memorial College Lions 80 to 64 at home. Flagler had nine blocks on the night and shot 43 percent from the floor. Both teams did not shoot well from the freethrow line, Flagler shooting just 56 percent while the Lions shot 52 percent.
    John Randolph led the Saints with 21 points, five assists, five steals and four rebounds. Junior guard Carlton Summers had 18 points and shot 6 of 12 from the floor. Rafael Peixoto had a solid game contributing 6 points, two assists, two blocks and a team-high nine rebounds.
    The Saints improved to 20-5 on the year.

    The Saints had a close call against conference team Webber in Babson Park. Flagler won the contest 90-87. Flagler led at half time 46-40, but late in the second Webber had a final push, but it was too few too late.
    Senior John Randolph led all scorers with a game-high 27 points. He added five rebounds, three assists and six steals. Junior Carlton Summers chipped in 18 points, shooting 4 of 6 from the 3-point line, three assists and two steals. Chris Crumpler and Jamie Jenkins both had 12 points on the night. Jenkins had a game-high eight blocks. Rafael Peixoto had a game-high 10 boards and 9 points.
    Webber was led by Terry Ratcliffe with 25 points.
    The Saints improve to 21-5 on the year and 6-0 in the Florida Sun Conference.
