All first-time Flagler students will take part in a pre-registration process. Information on this process will be sent to the students mid April. It is important to note in order to receive a the pre-registration information, you must have submitted your enrollment deposit. If you have questions about the enrollment deposit contact your Admissions Director.
All incoming freshmen will work with their First Year Advisor throughout the registration process. First Year Advisors are assigned to students in April before the pre-registration email is released.
First Year Advisors will be your helping hand as they assist with the overall adjustment process at Flagler. The first task of your advisor will be to assist you in the selection of your fall semester classes and class registration. Your First Year Advisor will begin contacting you after March 20th, at which time they will begin to prepare you for the Advising Period.
The advising period will be April 24th to June 9th. Information about this process will be sent mid-April. During this time students will have online access to view courses available for the fall semester and discuss class selection and scheduling with their First Year Advisor. Students and their advisors can discuss class selection over the phone, via email or on-campus (if scheduling is possible).
The registration period for incoming freshmen will be online and will be open from June 10th to June 24th. Once you have submitted your class schedule your First Year Advisor will be able to review it to make sure no first year requirements have been overlooked. If you have questions during this time and need to contact your First Year Advisor you can look up their contact information using the Campus Directory.
The First Year Experience at Flagler College is designed to jump-start your academic life and create opportunities for success in your personal, professional and community networks.
