Henry Flagler began his legacy by co-founding a successful oil company and continued with the construction of the Hotel Ponce de Leon, Florida's first resort hotel. The orientation program at Flagler is designed to make sure that all first year students begin with a solid foundation for what will become your legacy.
Building Your Legacy Orientation for students arriving in the spring begins on January 11th with new student move-in at 9:00 am. During Building Your Legacy Orientation all first year and transfer students will participate in planned academic and social events, create college ID, meet their residential advisers and more. For those students moving into the residence hall, the schedule also has where you will need to go to move into your assigned hall. If you have questions, email Student Services or call (904) 819-6238.
As part of orientation and the First Year Experience all incoming students are assigned a First Year Reading. These readings will be discussed during the schedule Academic Sessions. To access this journal document you will need to have your Flagler ID and password (if you are off campus).
Parents of new students are welcome to attend the optional parent orientation session that is held after move-in is complete on Saturday, January 11th from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. This is a great opportunity to hear from Administration in a relaxed environment as well as network with other Flagler parents.
