How To Apply- Military

Review the admissions requirements below and if it looks like Flagler is the right fit for you, we welcome you to apply.

Application Process

As a courtesy, Flagler College waives the application fee for active duty military personnel, members of the Reserves and National Guard, and veterans. Click on one of the buttons below to place your application.

If you have not completed any college courses after high school, please submit the Freshman application. If you have completed one or more college courses since high school, please submit the Transfer application. Whichever application you submit, your military training and education will still be evaluated for possible award of academic credit.

If you are a transfer student, please review the information on the Transfer Admissions Requirements page before submitting your application.

Information about Early Decision and Regular Decision Admissions

  • Early Decision

The Admissions Committee gives preference to students who have selected Flagler as their first choice college. To identify these students, the College has developed a voluntary Early Decision Plan for freshmen and transfers who are applying for the fall semester.

    • If you choose to apply under this option, you’re declaring to us that Flagler College is your first choice!
    • Your application will be acted upon before those who choose to apply under the Regular Decision Plan.

Dates you need to know for Early Decision application:

    Deadlines and Notifications
    November 1st

    Early Decision Application Due

    December 15th

    Notification of Admission Decision

    January 15th

Enrollment Deposit Due for ED Applicants

Students admitted under the Early Decision Plan are required to withdraw applications submitted to other colleges and to confirm their decision to attend Flagler by remitting an advance deposit of $200 and completed enrollment forms by January 15. Advance deposits are credited to the student’s tuition and fees and are non-refundable.

In addition to the advance deposit, boarding students are required to remit a $200 deposit as a room reservation fee. This fee is also due on January 15.

Boarding students may submit a single check for $400 to cover both the advance deposit and the room reservation fee, rather than submitting two separate checks.
