All athletes are required to purchase the health insurance, unless the student can verify that he/she is protected by other health insurance plans that meet Federal standards and standards established by the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) and the insurance company is chartered in the United States. The charge for health insurance is not subject to adjustment or refund once it has been added to the student account.
