The resources listed below are designed to help students interested in pursuing undergraduate research opportunities.
The Office of Undergraduate Research is excited to announce an exciting new partnership. ScholarBridge is a new tool to promote student and faculty involvement in academic research. ScholarBridge is an online network where professors can post their availability to mentor students. Student members can search the ScholarBridge database of professors and opportunities – at any point in their academic career - to find the right mentor and the research focus that they are most interested in actively pursuing. ALJ in Student Research
The ALJ in Student Research periodically accepts article submissions. Submissions should range between 2500-3750 words, and should be sent as Microsoft Word attachments to editor_ALJ@fhsu.edu. All submissions forwarded on to the editorial board for review are sent as blind submissions and evaluated by a minimum of two readers. The ALJ in Student Research is an annual, online, peer reviewed, international journal dedicated to the publication of student research (undergraduate and graduate) within all disciplines and of pedagogically based professional work that explores the intersection of student research with teaching and faculty research. Our mission is to provide a forum for exceptional student research and to promote collaboration between students and teachers in the classroom, laboratory, and field.

Student who have an interest in research and who are looking to pursue an advanced degree should review this Registry of Undergraduate Researchers. The registry can facilitate the matching of experienced undergraduate researchers with graduate programs who are in need of well prepared researchers.
