Small in big ways
When you know your professors and they know you personally, it makes a big difference. At Flagler, classes are intentionally small. With a student-to-faculty ratio of 16:1, you enjoy more individual interaction with industry professionals and distinguished faculty who will challenge you and inspire you to explore across disciplines. A small campus makes student life more rewarding as you collaborate, engage in lively discussions and build relationships that last a lifetime.
You can choose from highly focused majors and minors. Among them, you’ll discover some of the most innovative and leading-edge degrees in the country, from our master's program in Deaf Education to our undergraduate programs in Sport Management and Coastal Environmental Science, which leverages Flagler’s unique coastal setting.
First Year Experience
We know the first year can be challenging, so we designed a First Year Experience program to make the transition to college a positive one. Working collaboratively with fellow students and faculty-mentors, you’ll immerse yourself in the intellectual, cultural, and social life of the college, and enjoy a challenging academic community of active learning where you receive personalized support from faculty, staff and administrators.
At Flagler, your individual academic and professional growth is enhanced with hands-on experiences that encourage real world application. From critical thinking skills to creative problem solving, Flagler students get to exercise their mental muscle by doing. Through internships, study abroad and local volunteer programs, such as The Civil Rights Library, our culture of engagement inspires students to do meaningful work that can make a difference, both here and abroad.
Whatever your interest, Flagler College will give you the opportunity to thrive and compete nationally. Through classes, clubs and countless organizations on campus, students are encouraged to step outside their comfort zone and stretch their wings. Our entrepreneurial Enactus Team has won 3 national championships in the past 10 years. And our SAM (Society for Advanced Management) team has won 10 national championships. Flagler students are also well represented at national conferences.
Bring your compass
Flagler College students have the opportunity to explore new horizons through a robust study abroad program that includes travel to Australia, Belize, England, France, Italy, Peru, among others. These programs are immersive, compelling students to learn as much about the culture as they learn about the language.
