Flagler College is dedicated to offering Fine Arts majors an intense learning experience through quality studio instruction. Faculty members are committed professional artists who translate their own creative energy directly to the classroom. The Fine Arts major will develop traditional skills and be introduced to contemporary modes of artistic exploration. Moreover, each major will gain an extensive understanding of Art History from pre-history to contemporary visual culture.

The Art Department now offers a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. The BFA is specifically designed for students who aspire to be professional studio artists or attend graduate school. Students will apply to the BFA program through a selective sophomore portfolio review process.

Graduating Bachelor of Fine Arts students will have a solo exhibition of their work in Carrera Gallery. This final body of work will reflect their formal and conceptual growth as explorers of artistic meaning.
