Sport Management Major

The sport management program prepares students for careers in all areas of the sport industry, including intramural, intercollegiate, and professional athletics; public and private sport clubs; the sporting goods industry; hotels, resorts, travel businesses, and nonprofit agencies. Because the emphasis of the program is on sport and management, students take course work in the business administration department. Flagler's location in St. Augustine offers many internship possibilities including those at local fitness clubs, the city recreation department, the PGA at Sawgrass, Streetball Partners, Inc., the Jacksonville Suns Minor League Baseball organization, Daytona International Speedway, World Golf Village, and the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars football organization.
