Do you have the math “gene”?

If so, you might feel you’re genetically wired with a passion for calculating, analyzing, computing, and reasoning. You’ve come to the right place. The Flagler College Math and Technology Department is a community of people who share your passion.

The Flagler College Mathematics minor offers courses to support other departments that have major disciplines. These mathematics courses help to prepare you for courses in your major or minor, as well as to strengthen mathematical and logical reasoning skills useful in daily life.

Program Description

A Mathematics Minor provides you with the ability to think logically and solve problems. These are essential skills needed to be successful in graduate school, professional school, or in the work force. A Flagler College Mathematics Minor makes you more marketable in many fields – especially business, economics, and education.

Minor Requirements

The mathematics minor consists of a minimum of 15 semester hours, of which the following five courses are required.
