A mathematics minor provides a student with the ability to think logically and solve problems. These are essential skills needed to be successful in graduate school, professional school, or in the work force. A mathematics minor makes a graduate more marketable in many fields – especially business, economics and education.
The student minoring in mathematics must satisfactorily complete MAT 201, MAT 202, MAT 223, MAT 361, and MAT 368.
